I began baking when I was just a little girl helping my mother in the kitchen, and I have always loved trying new recipes. Now that our family doctor told us that my daughter has a gluten allergy, I have even been trying my hand at baking gluten-free goodies for her. However, there are some family favorite recipes that I can't find gluten-free versions of, so for a while, I stopped making them. One day I was inspired to bake a treat without using a recipe and just experimenting. I learned that day that experimenting in the kitchen can be a lot of fun, and while I have had occasional "misses," most of my experiments turn out great! I love baking so much that I want to share my baking tips, tricks, and recipes with anyone who would like to read them on a blog!
